TURN is a kinetic sculpture that uses reclaimed hardwood flooring from a local college gymnasium and serves as a table and a lounge as well. An optional rolling weight inside the sculpture enables the piece to stand on its own, turning any room into an art gallery. Recycling, interaction with art, and transforming spaces were key goals. A limited edition series of TURN is produced from each lot of reclaimed material, or it can be ordered using sustainable plywood made of bamboo. Customers may also send their own heirloom material to be used to make into a personal, one of a kind piece.
